Duck Amuck in Japan has been under different entities for a while. In 2006, it started out as a college radio show on WMWM Salem, known under the title “No Borders No Race”. There, its host Evan Bourgault spun the best music that Japan had to offer. Three years later, under the ElectricSistaHood, its second form — Boston Bastard Brigade — came to be, where Evan, under the pen name “King Baby Duck”, hosted a weekly/biweekly podcast show. It also gave him the chance to show off his journalism skills in the fields of anime, manga, video games, music, and other forms of pop culture.
Now, in April 2026, with Boston Bastard Brigade’s chapter closed, a new one begins with Duck Amuck in Japan. Its biweekly video show on Twitch, hosted by Evan and former Wicked Anime cofounders AFLM and JonStar, showcases life in the Land of the Rising Sun with a plethora of pop culture musings. Evan’s writings and reviews continue onward here, alongside convention coverage, interviews with musicians and voice actors, and a plethora of other things that will surely entertain and inform readers for a long time to come.
