It’s summertime, and King Baby Duck has one question: where are the cicadas?! After he, AFLM, and JonStar reflect on summers of the past, KBD experiences a special exhibit based on the works of manga author Fujio Akatsuka at the Tokiwaso Manga Museum. Grand Theft Auto VI news drops, and the boys aren’t happy with Sony going disc-less in the future. And not even the great Sgt. Frog can evade bad press, especially when the Japanese audiences go against his latest film!

But there’s good news abound, as AFLM has another successful KickStarter for his Solarion Sun comic! Then, it’s a look back at Summer anime from 2016 and 2006, which leads to KBD’s visit to Creative Museum Tokyo’s Mamoru Hosoda showcase. Lastly, it’s all about Summer 2026 anime, with chain-smoking cat girls, mermaids, battle-ready lesbians, and lots of monster girls!
